Build and Broaden Scholars will engage in a yearlong Faculty Learning Community
Active participation in the Build and Broaden FLC will require faculty and postdoctoral fellows to attend a kick-off event (location TBD) where they will meet their Faculty Mentors, other Build and Broaden Scholars, and PIs
Scholars will be required to participate in a virtual training workshop titled Write Winning Grant Proposals
Participation also involves
- Kick-off meetings
- Monthly FLC sessions
- Virtual writing retreat
- Internal competition for seed grants
Participation in all activities is mandatory.
